One of the most important aspects of one’s character is one’s word. Throughout my life I’ve had moments where I told someone something and did not keep my word. At these times I always knew I was not doing the right thing no matter how simplistic the situation was.
EX: bump into someone you have not seen in a while make plans with that person to do whatever and the date flies by as if it was never discussed at all. The thing that made it wrong was the fact that I said I would call the individual to confirm and did not. Now you bump into that individual again and if you have somewhat of any consciousness you know! You always know, the question is do you bring it up. Some do some don’t. These days I do! They are very very limited yet once in a while it will happen and I immediatly open my mouth and do something to make it right. People respect that and in fact love that.
In the distance of one’s mind are the stories of that one or two individuals that someone in your family always verbalized about for they always kept there word. This in fact allowes one to live on through + reafirmations and repition reinforces skill. surround yourself with individuals that make it appoint to keep there word and if they don’t reinforce it for them, be there reminder. Practice what you preach-preach what you practice! Your child or children or one day child or children depend on that, from you!

Dr. Joseph J. Amato
Dear Dr. Amato, When we first met back in 2005, you expressed that you planned to become a physician-leader as opposed to a doctor-businessman. I see that you have kept your word. I know you are on the right track in blending the mind-body-spirit concepts with down to earth usable services and products. 2Life, Caryn
